Department of Finance and Accounts who is responsible for the Ministry’s financial and accounting activities.
  1. Budget Preparation and Management

    • Prepares the Ministry’s annual budget in line with government policies and strategic objectives.

    • Monitors budget implementation to ensure funds are utilized efficiently and for approved purposes.

  2. Financial Accounting and Record Keeping

    • Maintains accurate and up-to-date financial records of all transactions.

    • Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

  3. Revenue and Expenditure Control

    • Oversees all receipts and payments of the Ministry.

    • Ensures proper authorization, documentation, and accounting of expenditures.

  4. Payroll and Personnel Emoluments

    • Manages salaries, allowances, and other entitlements of Ministry staff in accordance with approved guidelines.
